Banking & Financial
Frederick W. Marty is a partner in the firm's business department. Fred's
practice concentrates in commercial lending, commercial real estate transactions,
residential real estate transactions and development. He represents various
municipal planning and zoning boards concerning zoning and land use issues.
Fred also counsels clients in the formation of business entities and represents
clients in the purchase and sale of closely held businesses.
Fred attended Colgate University where he graduated cum laude and received
a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. He attended Syracuse University College
of Law where he graduated cum laude and received a Juris Doctor in 2003.
He is admitted to practice law in New York State and the United States
District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Fred is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association and participates
in their Volunteer Lawyer Project. He is also a member of the New York
State Bar Association.
Fred serves on the Board of Trustees of The Centers at St. Camillus,
the Board of Directors of Oakwood Cemetery and the Board of Directors
of the Mountain Goat Run Foundation, Inc.
In Fred's spare time, he enjoys running, cycling, swimming, and golfing.
