Bronson Kopp joined Mackenzie Hughes in 2013 and is a member of the firm's
litigation department. His practice includes appellate litigation, commercial
disputes, and personal injury.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in political science
and history from St. John Fisher College in 2007, Bronson continued his
studies at Syracuse University College of Law and graduated with a Juris
Doctorate in 2012.
Bronson was admitted to practice law in New York in 2013. He was admitted
to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New
York in 2014 and the Western District of New York in 2016. Bronson is
a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association and New York Bar Association.
During law school, Bronson worked as a law clerk for a local solo practitioner
and externed at the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York. He also acted as
a student attorney at the College's Legal Defense Clinic. In college,
Bronson interned with the Heritage Foundation and participated in numerous
community service projects, including three trips to New Orleans to perform
post-Katrina relief and recovery work.
Bronson is a member of the Board of Directors of Joseph's House for Women,
a home for women facing unplanned pregnancy. He also volunteers for the
OCBA Eviction Defense Clinic and the Syracuse University College of Law
Veterans Clinic Homefront Heroes network.
In his time outside of work, Bronson enjoys reading about history and
politics, and spending time with his wife Anna, their son Jonah, and their
German Shorthaired Pointer named Sadie.
