Estate, Trust and Guaradianship Litigation

Mackenzie Hughes was recently involved in a trust dispute between siblings where we successfully obtained a court determination ordering the sibling trustee to distribute property to our client, the sibling beneficiary, unencumbered by the trustee’s proposed easement.

Mackenzie Hughes attorneys servicing the Estate, Trust and Guardianship Litigation practice include:

Ryan T. Emery
Ami S. Longstreet
Anne B. Ruffer

Despite the careful planning by many family members to ensure their estates, trusts or guardianship matters are settled before they pass on, disputes may occasionally arise over the interpretation of the distribution of a will, trust, estate and more. When these types of matters occur, we help our clients fight for their rights through litigation.

Our attorneys provide specific council and services over:

  • Trust disputes
  • Guardianship disputes
  • Accounting disputes
  • Will contests
  • Abuses of power of attorneys
